Artist's Description
Batsto-Pleasant Mills United Methodist Church , New Jersey.
The Batsto-Pleasant Mills United Methodist Church, adjacent to Batsto Village, was erected in 1808 on the site of a much older church. Community members, Batsto workers and their families came here to worship, for weddings, and for funerals. Today the church has a very active congregation. The church cemetery is the final resting place for generations of community members.
About Nick Zelinsky Jr
I've been involved in photography since 1968. I started in high school and went on the work as a photographer in several fields, First as a real estate photographer, then in the US Air Force, Next as a crime lab photographer. I moved on portraits for a time. I stayed involved in photography on a limited basis but started working in IT for 25 years. I found that digital photography was natural move with experience in both photography and computers. Now that I am retired, I do more landscape and nature work.
